Purpose of the position
Responsible for all receipt and issues and directly reporting to the Deputy/Assistant Manager. In absence of the deputy / assistant manager acts as the stores Incharge. Can independently execute stores responsibilities under the aegis of manager
Responsibilities & duties
â–Œ Responsibility 1 â€"
• Correctness and Maintenance of records in respect of Stores.
• Timely Procurement of Stores and Materials.
• Verification of contractor bills in case of back to back material contracts.
• Liaison with outside authorities and agencies.
• Prepare MIS information to Zonal Office and Head Office.
• Cooperate the site incharge in day to day work.
â–Œ Responsibility 2 â€"
• To check the purchase order Number.
• Material Test Certificate,Grade of Material, Size,Schedule,Mat Code,Quantity,Inspection Report,Stamp of Vendor/Third Party, and Heat No. etc. for different kind of material for all Refinery sites.
• Maintains Store materials & activities.
• Finishing,Packing,Dispatch
• Performs related work as assigned.
• Maintains catalogs of available stock items.
• Unpacks incoming goods and wraps and packs outgoing goods.
• Stocks materials according to a prescribed inventory system.
• Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work.
â–Œ Responsibility 3 â€" Managing the day to day operations
• Manages day to day operations of stores in the site.
• Modern warehouse procedures, including methods of proper and orderly storage and issuance of materials;
• Basic stock inventory procedures; requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, slips, tags, and the use and meaning of each; computerized warehouse record keeping systems.
